My name is Andy, and I’ve lost jobs.
Have you been there too? Then you know all the emotions:
The shock of having that place where people bonded with you and counted on you suddenly torn out of your life.
I couldn't watch the speech. I had an appointment to have my fingernails pulled off with pliers, which I knew would be more pleasant. But, the worldwide reviews are coming in. When the Castro Times comes out, I'll supplement this post.…

I have taken a significant amount of calls, texts and interactions regarding my post earlier today about AFP "supporting" Marco Rubio and the Gang of 8 Amnesty Travesty Bill. https://www.facebook.com/randy.corporon?ref=tn_tnmn Most have been very supportive, and a few have been very angry.
Certainly, Sean…

Dear Government
You were created to protect our Individual Rights. Instead you have taken them away from us.
You were created to protect us from our enemies. Instead you have become our enemy.
Today we ask that you give our country back. Tomorrow we will take it back.
Respectfully,
Vox Populi

I suggest that Arapahoe Tea Party members read the article entitled "Nigel vs the Lunatic Mainstream" by Mark Steyn, National Review, June 25, 2013. I think this is the greatest political satire since "A Modest Proposal" byJonathon Swift in 1729, and offers those of us "out of the mainstream" some ammunition to keep the pressure on the idiots running our government. Al Maurer has written an article with this title for the Washington Times Communities page. Please read the article and watch for news in the coming months regarding this initiative. People will be needed to collect signatures on the petition if it is allowed. Start thinking about the idea.

Not too much new here. It is the intent of the user of the tool, not the tool, that needs the focus.

If you want some help in understanding why the America we love is dying, I would urge all to take an hour and a half and view the Post Title documentary. The link is http://vimeo.com/63749370

I just received this item in an email today. Seems our plight in Colorado with the oppressive gun legislation coming out of the 2013 legislative session has the folks at CheaperThanDirt.com fired up to fire the rest of the country up. We must do a better job here in vetting candidates and getting good, Constitutionally-committed candidates on the ballot. But, other states be warned: constant vigilance is required in every level of local and state government EVERYWHERE.…

Conservatives today often call for “Principled Candidates” who draw “real contrasts” between us and the Left. I couldn’t agree more.
But how do we draw contrasts when the audience doesn’t share our principles?
The Viewpoint of Becky
For a moment, I want you to stop being like me; stop being a Conservative political junkie. Taking a step outside your well-informed bubble,…

The Search
It appears that last week’s horrors provided another of our President’s “teachable moments,” because I learned something. I truly did. I learned that the Left searches more for “Conservative” killers than evolutionists search for missing links. At one point, I swore I saw Leftists patching mismatched fossils together, labeling their discovery “Piltdown Tax Day Assailant.” (For those non-science-buffs out there, just ignore me and…

This is no article. This is a rant. I am really angry, folks.
On Wednesday, while in Denver touting gun control legislation, President Obama said the following:
“You hear some of these quotes: ‘I need a gun to protect myself from the government.’ ‘We can't do background checks because the government is going to come take my guns away.’
Well, the government is us. These officials are…
I would encourage everyone to watch the full 90-minute video from this forum. This is the video on which there are a couple of segments that Diana DeGette (CD-1) appeared poorly informed of terminology and issues. The panel included the board from the Denver Post, Ed Perlmutter (CD-7), Diana DeGette (CD-1), Senator Kevin Lundberg, and Sheriff Justin Smith (Larimer County).

Do you know what I see? I see a bunch of self appointed, pumped up, supposed leaders running around spouting this and that and doing nothing of consequence. Why aren't you brilliant leaders organizing a state wide Recall effort for the Governor, as well as enough of the Democrats who are in vulnerable areas of the state to overturn this assault on our constitutional rights?
Since the campaign before the 2008 elections I have been asking "Why is it that if someone is coherent…

Karl Marx saw history as class struggle. I see history as Individualism verses Collectivism. The essential right of an Individual in America is to own property. Marx made it a central point of his writing to deny that right to the Individual.*
The founding fathers believed private property to be a foundation (Bill of Rights Amendment V) and upon this foundation was built the other Rights, namely Life, Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness, choice of Religion, to bear…

Over the past year, I’ve had times when I was angry with people on the Right. A few examples are:

Have you noticed how many people are fleeing places like Detroit and California? Some evacuees are Conservatives, who bolt from failed experiments where success is punished. But many are Liberals. And with reliably Democrat votes, these Leftists swarm like locusts into neighboring states.
Conservatives often wonder, “If they run from failure, can’t they reject it? Don’t they see the wreckage left by their policies? Why don’t they learn?”
Here’s the…

The mainstream media insulates this president from citizens learning the truth. Fortunately, their R-value is diminishing over time. Meanwhile, Tea Party, free market, constitutional and other liberty groups continue to grow, learn, organize, raise resources, teach and reach.
Rand Paul stood up to the cynicism and arrogance of the power structure this week. You can judge him both by the friends he keeps, those committed Senators who…
