I am already weary of the Obama administration's propaganda machine (commonly referred to as the mainstream media) trying to spin the outrage expressed by the USCCB (US Conference of Catholic Bishops) as some kind of anti-women attempt to keep anyone from getting contraceptive and abortifacient devices and medication. It is truly a challenge to religious liberty, and an attempt to squash the 1st Amendment of our Constitution. The usual obfuscation and misrepresentation is being employed to…Continue

While in session, the CO Senate Minority Office (the Republicans right now) sends out LOADS of information about what's up at the Capitol, and what bills are being floated. (I suspect the Democrats do something similar - I'm not on that email list.)
If you don't already get these updates, go to the following site, and sign up for email updates, or follow them on Twitter or FaceBook.

I love these morning synopsis articles from Heritage. They help me stay informed with a good overview of the topic at hand, and then provide me the ability to dig further for more detail.
Today, on the day Congressman Ryan releases another proposal for the federal budget, Heritage makes their argument for what they call the NEW Flat Tax, and what they call their plan for "Saving the American Dream". Good read:…Continue

Professor Rob Natelson has written an article, "Republicans Pushing Mandates on State Courts," that explains the problems or ramifications of voting either "aye" or "nay" on this revised H.R. 5 that may be on the docket for Monday, March 19, 2012 in the U. S. Congress. Here is one bill that should be single issue bill and stop with the mandates.
1. "THE FIRST PART of revised H.R. 5 is a resurrected zombie that was the original H.R. 5. Although promoted as “medical…Continue

This article from National Review has a good report of how the process is accomplished and how the environmental concerns are addressed by the state agencies and drilling/production company. There is a lot of information here, and I encourage folks to read the whole article.

What, if any, should be the limitations on topics and postings for this web site?

What is the difference between a blog post and a forum?
Oh the irony . . .
The photo I posted on my own page censored by your admin who has the nerve to write me about how Arapahoe Tea Party is all about liberty!
What a joke!
Ever read the 1st Amendment?

Recently, Senator Jeff Sessions questioned Leon Panetta in a hearing. The video demonstrates who the executive branch of government thinks permits military action. Has anyone in Washington, D.C. read the Constitution recently, specifically Article 1 Section 8?
116 patriots showed up for a Tuesday evening gathering at Smoky Hill Library. We heard from a dozen candidates, The Inconvenient Sunny Roseman entertained, and Derrick Wilburn of Rocky Mountain Black Tea Party and Tom Tancredo closed the deal. The entire meeting was recorded, so check back here often.
Many milled around well after the library closed, inside and then outside, to debate grassroots energy, Republican presidential politics and what's next. Many great compliments and…Continue
