Just wanted to remind everyone that George Brauchler is the GOP nominee; he has spoken to your group on multiple occasions. His Democrat opponent is Ethan Feldman, who retired after being an Arapaho County Court Judge for over 20 years. Mr. Feldman was a prosecutor for Bob Gallagher, but left the DA's Office for private practice in 1980. Several public debates have already occurred between these 2, but I would recommend the event on Wednesday, September 26th at 7:30 p.m. at the South Metro Chamber of Commerce Office at the Streets of Southglenn Mall. I hope to have an op-ed article posted online before the 26th to help the average voter analyze some important differences between the candidates.
For the 2012 primary elections the Colorado Secretary of State's office lists the candidates at:
http://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/elections/Candidates/files/2012Prim...
There are two Republican candidates in the primary race. Leslie Hansen works in the district attorney's office. George Brauchler has experience in Jefferson County and his military service. The winner of the primary will face the Democrat opponent in the November election.
The candidates are out there meeting people and campaigning. Meet them and learn about them, help candidates if you can, and vote.
