Hello Arapahoe Tea Party members.

As you know I have mentioned that if you inducted yourself into the Republican Party during the last election cycle that you as a precinct leader will have a vote on who will hold the county and district leadership positions.  Your District Captains should be forwarding to you the lists of the people running for bonus delegates county positions.  The biggest group of people are fighting over the bonus delegate positions since there are only 3 for this year due to the last gov. election.

Here are the people who I know of following each position.

Arapahoe County Chair:  Joy Hoffman, Rick Gillette

Vice Chair:  Jay Ledbetter, Regina Thompson

Secretary:  I spoke with a guy on the phone last night named Tom, who is very supportive of the 9/12 and Tea Party movement that has support from Nancy Doty as well.

Bonus Delegate (3):  Matt Arnold [clear the bench], Michel Austin, Bruce Cairns, Walt Curter, Nancy Doty, Gregory Golyansky [C. U. T.], Dave Kerber, Kathleen LeCrone, Athenia Michel, Denise Myrup, Myron Spanier,

There is of course the difficult task of finding leadership to coordinate the State House Districts for the next elections as well.  As mentioned I will be running for District Captain of #17 only.  I have a good feel for who I would like to see in the positions mentioned above.  It will be a full day on Tuesday so please let me know what you think of the field of people.  There could very well be more candidates the day.

Thanks

Fredrick Lindner

Fredrick, thanks for the info. I'm a little confused. Do only precinct captains get to vote? Also, I don't understand the overall structure. There are State House Districts, as well as county districts? Is this to support state as well as federal elections? Sorry for my confusion. Are others confused as well?

In terms of the candidates mentioned above, the only person I would have an opinion on would be Matt Arnold. I would support him because of his efforts on Clear the Bench.

Postponed to Feb 22, 2011 due to the winter storm on Monday night.
