Caucus Training videos
In late 2009, a team from Douglas County, Colorado, [Crista Huff and Rep. Chris Holbert] conducted numerous caucus training sessions. The 2-year cycle is starting again and the links to the session recorded by People's Press Collective [on YouTube under the complete listing of their videos on the "peoplespresstube's channel"]. While looking for these, the links to Democrat caucus videos were also found and included below.

Caucus training events will be announced by various groups in the next couple of months, especially as the redistricting and reapportionment maps availability draws near. Watch the events announcements for information.
The Colorado caucuses will be held February 7, 2012. In 2009 in preparation for the caucus in 2010 and the nomination of representatives to attend county and state assemblies the grassroots "teaparty" individuals and groups attended caucus training events to learn about the caucus and how to become representatives to the assemblies.
At the Arapahoe County and then the state assemblies nearly one-half of the representatives were first-time attendees and new to the process.
Some of the caucus training was recorded. The list of videos is lengthy but view them at your pace or refer to them if you do attend one of the training events. Some of the rules for representation may have changed, and certainly following the 2010 elections the representation numbers will be reduced in some counties.
Consider getting involved as a precinct leader and check with your local county party for information on openings in precinct leadership.
