Thank you both for your responses :-)  It just sounds like a wonderful event and sure wish it was more affordable so more people could hear these wonderful patriots speak.

Joyce,

No, the price for the event covers costs of the speakers and 4 meals from Friday through Sunday, which I suppose seems like a lot but there are rentals and fees for the facilities that are also included.  If you and your husband might be interested in volunteering to assist with some of the organizational details that need attention through the weekend, there is a volunteer section near the bottom of the registration page that might be worth investigating.  It seems like the organizers have asked other groups to help locate volunteers also.  There may be groups with tables or booths that may need volunteers, but I am not sure what types of groups might be doing booths.

The event last year was such a success and so well attended that they have had to use a larger and undoubtedly more expensive venue.   This event seems to fill the need for a conference closer to our area that does not require massive travel related expenses that would be incurred for similar events in D.C. or other locations.

Thanks for the question.

Wilma

As there is mention of "special price for rooms" I don't think it does. If I go, it will be just me and not my husband. It sure is pricey, although last election I was invited to a special event for Mitt Romney - $500. I didn't go but guess that is the price of poker for these events.

Both my husband and myself would sure love to attend but just a bit too expensive for us.  Does the price include a room?  We wouldn't need a room.
