Thanks for posting, Wilma. I would like a major part of the meeting to be devoted to talking about what we, the ATP can do to best be effective in the Federal Budget Debate. I've come to the conclusion that encouraging all our Colorado legislators (except maybe Reps DeGette and Polis, who are hopeless, but also rather irrelevant in this discussion as the House has a Republican majority) to support Congressman Paul Ryan's "Blueprint for America" is our best hope. It won't help to threaten to remove people from office next election - we are at zero hour for this debate, and just have to work with what we have. In particular, influencing our two Democratic Senators could make the difference between this country continuing to be "exceptional" versus becoming socialist mediocre at best or economic ruin and ensuring chaos at worst.
