Colorado Conservatives Meeting: "Amendment 69" (aka "Colorado Care") (Please RSVP to Nancy Doty)

Since we didn’t have a meeting in March due to very bad weather, I hope you’ll make every effort to attend our meetup on Wednesday, April 27^th   featuring discussion on Amendment 69.   Our guest speaker is Kelly Sloan who is a Colorado based government relations and public affairs consultant, journalist, columnist, and Centennial Institute policy fellow. He moved to Colorado from Alberta, Canada in 2006 and is a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and has a degree in criminology. Mr. Sloan will be discussing Amendment 69 known as “Colorado Care” by proponents. This amendment will be on our November ballot, and if it passes it will result in a $25 billion tax increase and Colorado would immediately have the highest state income tax at 14.63% in the entire country.

Please Note: There is a $12 cover charge which includes a taco bar buffet, soft drink, dessert and the cost of the meeting room. Alcoholic drinks can be purchased at a separate cash bar.
