Event Description

Radio hosts, Matt Dunn and Krista Kafer, will offer their commentary on events both cultural and political.

"We welcome you to "debate prep" and "ladies night" on Backbone Radio. The first presidential debate comes to Colorado on Wednesday -- the roads around I-25 will be closed and the stakes will be high. The pressure mounts, the air grows heavy with anticipation

In the one corner, Team Obama is attempting to lower expectations for their guy, claiming he's too busy being president to properly prepare. You know, spending all that time with Letterman and the ladies from The View. For whatever reason, they're doing all they can to raise expectations for their opponent.

In the other corner, Team Romney seems already on the ropes, facing a palpable GOP morale problem and plentiful nervous nellies in the bleachers. With the skewed polls showing some slippage, some are saying it's "do or die" time for Romney.

So - will Romney take the gloves off? Will Obama survive without his Teleprompter? Who will fly like a butterfly? Who will sting like a bee? We'll take our own shots at "debate prep" -- what to expect, what it all means, what they should do and how they should do it. Hint to Romney: Let’s Roll!

We'll also offer another "Ladies Night" installment in our conversation with Debbie Brown, director of the Colorado Women's Alliance. How's Mitt doing with the ladies? Is Obama getting anywhere with his specious "War on Women" charge?

Also, for those who collect campaign buttons (as does Kafer), we’ll take a look at this unique American tradition. It goes all the way back to 1828. Who would have guessed?"

Don’t miss it! Tune in to 710 KNUS or 1460 KZNT Colorado Springs or online at http://www.710knus.com/ from 5 to 8 PM. Your smart choice for Sunday night radio.

Debbie Brown was a guest and talked about her web site, Colorado Women's Alliance, and referred to two more sites.
