The committee that Scott Gessler was testifying before is termed the "kill committee" in at least some of the items I have read, and indeed the bill was tabled and will not go to the state senate.  There is a bill sponsored by Rep. Chris Holbert starting through committees in the state house that there is some hope for.

16,270 residents with a Drivers Licence, but not Naturalized citizens, are also on the voting records!!!
