Town Hall Meetings -- U.S. Rep. Mike Coffman (for example)

 

The U.S. representatives and senators were "home" recently for at least a week.  Some held town hall meetings or other events that you may have heard about or attended.  If you attended one of these events, please add a few comments below regarding the event to summarize the speech, inquiries, or discussion.  I do not remember seeing announcements or reports for Senators Udall or Bennet.  If you have been to an event that our Colorado state legislators may have held please feel free to comment on those as well.

 

U.S. Representative Mike Coffman

 

Congressman Mike Coffman held two town halls and I have heard that some of our Arapahoe County Tea Party people were able to attend the event Monday, March 21.  The only write up that I have found so far is this review from "The Tea Party Platform."  If any one has other impressions from either the Monday event or attended the second town hall, please add your two cents.

 

Colorado Representative Amy Stephens
Representative Amy Stephens held a town hall event Wednesday that was quickly organized after SB11-200 [health care exchange board, etc.] was announced earlier in the week.  Numerous reports of the Wednesday event indicated that inquiries were extremely limited and less than satisfactory. She had defended her sponsorship of the bill with Grassroots Radio hosts, Ken Clark and Jason Worley, Tuesday evening on KLZ 560.  One of the reports written is:
