Resolution for Illegal Immigrants & those that Hire Them

I.       SUMUGGLING AND HIRING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

A.    The criminal organizations involved in the smuggling of aliens will violate any law and have total disregard for human life. 

B.     The violent, collateral and locally committed crimes related to the smuggling include murder, kidnapping, extortion, assault, sexual assault, home invasions, and vehicle collisions while attempting to evade the police. 

C.     The local businesses and employees that hire illegal immigrants are an integral part of the smuggling of aliens.

D.    Addressing the various local crimes and violence related to illegal immigration within each state is no longer merely a federal responsibility.

 

II.      VERIFICATION OF LEGAL APPLICANTS

A.    E-Verify® is an Internet-based system operated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in partnership with the Social Security Administration (SSA). NowHIRE is a federally approved designated agent, and nowHIRE’s E-Verify Program is a government-certified program.  The E-Verify system allows honest businesses to determine which applicants are legally working in these United States.

 

III.     RESOLUTION

A.    Legislation should be enacted by each state that provides an expectation of serious enforcement and penalties by those involved in all aspects of the smuggling of illegal immigrants. 

B.     Businesses that hire illegal immigrants are criminals and both the business and its employees involved in hiring illegal immigration should be severely punished with fines and prison terms. 

C.     To deter and discourage illegal immigrants from seeking employment all business in the state are required to use E-Verify to determine the status of each prospective employee.
