Mike,

I know that the time has been a topic of discussion at some of the events or with people who have talked about trying to organize any type of event.  Some of the events lately seem to have been organized very quickly which may also be one of the limiting factors.

The committee hearing testimony on this particular matter is currently in session on Monday afternoon, so I have to wonder how effective this rally will be.

Thank you for your comments and I hope that various leaders will take your suggestions into consideration.

There are likely a lot of factors that are considered for the permits for these events and the times that are available.  If someone has been involved in organizing one of these rallies could comment on the considerations and logistics, it might be helpful to know how much goes into these.

Noon to 1:00 p.m. while the legislature is in session is probably the best hour possible.  Some people show up to help represent those who cannot be there because of work.

Geri, thank you for posting the event.  (--Wilma)

I've asked the same question, Mike. Organizers have told me these one-hour rallies at noon on weekdays is actually to accommodate working people so they can come to the rally during lunch break. I especially agree with your comment regarding Conservatives actually having JOBS. Do what you can, let us old folks know you're behind us when we go to the rallies...Just had a thought, Mike: Maybe we oldsters can carry signs that have pictures of families like yours (or of Conservative individuals) and be at the rallies for ourselves and ALSO as surrogates for those of you who have to be at work ~ Let me know what you think ;>)
