The American Experiment (.org) hosts this free event to explain why the Declaration of Independence is so important. "Come and learn about the principles America was founded upon and why we must never forget them. Remember, the only way to keep America great is to know what made her great and pass this down to our children. So bring your family and celebrate one of the greatest documents ever written."
"Presented by Ben Martin. Ben entered The US Military Academy at West Point, NY in 1968. He spent the next 30 years of his life with the US Army. Besides his assignment as an Infantry Officer, he earned advanced degrees in Engineering, Education, and Military Operations. Ben’s first exposure to our Founding Heritage came when he was in the 7th Grade, at the hands of his history teacher who was also a Daughter of the American Revolution. Since then he has made numerous presentations and is currently teaching The American Founding Heritage at Arapahoe Community College."
