Event Description
Troopathon.org has set up their third annual on-line fundraiser for care packages that will be sent to the troops.
The care packages contain a card of thanks, a variety of personal hygiene items for the troops in the field, powdered "Gatorade" type packets, items that break up the monotony of MREs, and more.
They will have a number of radio hosts and other "celebrity" folks who will be "appearing" for this 8-hour event.
Check it out. Contribute if possible.
The event starts at 1:00 p.m. (Pacific)/4:00 p.m. (Eastern).

The event is not sponsored by Arapahoe County Tea Party but seemed like a reasonable event to note. I learned of the event listening to a St. Louis radio station, so a little notice locally may not hurt.

We've sent care packages to the troops on our own, some to family members and some anonymously, over the years and it is a rewarding experience. While I plan to keep doing this independently, I applaud your event.
