Event Description

Please join us for dinner and a movie, the one making all the rounds, "Agenda, Grinding America Down."

"When Idaho legislator Curtis Bowers wrote a 'Letter to the Editor' about the drastic changes in America's culture, it became the feature story on the evening news, people protested at the Capitol, and for weeks the local newspapers were filled with responses.

He realized then...he'd hit on something.

Ask almost anyone and you'll hear, 'communism is dead! The Berlin Wall came down.' Though the word communism isn't used anymore, this film will show the ideas behind it are alive and well.

Join Bowers for a fascinating look at the people and groups that have successfully targeted America's morality and freedom in their effort to grind America down.

It's a well documented agenda.

Menu to be determined. Possibly scalloped potatoes and sausage. Sweet corn and/or California vegetable salad. The movie will start at 6:30 but if you want, show up at 5:00 to have a pre-dinner drink.

Quick directions to our house: From the intersection of Smoky Hill Rd. and Himalaya, go east on Smoky Hill. Past the storage units, turn right onto Kirk Ave. Down the hill, 4th right onto Lake Ave. Up a short block, veer right onto S. Himalaya Ct., second house on the left, with a U.S. flag flying.

Jay, it was so nice to meet you and your wife. Should we start a comment thread on this site, to let people give their opinions of the movie? I am more interested in what others think, as the movie itself. As mentioned, I want someone to convince me it is not true! Nancy, getting copies of the DVD to sell at our meetings/joining in the 9/11 Freedom Rally both sound like great ideas. Let's talk.

Nancy, I should get 2 or 3 copies since I had that many people tell me they would have to look about getting a copy.  I am thinking it might be good to get them connected and have a spare copy to loan.  Thanks for including the link for the 911 Freedom Rally.  (Wilma)

Hi H.J.  What part of town do you live in?  Maybe we can meet up somewhere.  Or I can mail a few copies to you.  Also, I will have a booth at the 911 Freedom Rally at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City on 9/11 and will be selling them there.  By the way, this is an entirely different event than the Hickenlooper/Hancock event that the Colorado & Denver GOP are promoting.  Here's a link to the 911 Freedom Rally where I will have a booth.  http://www.911freedomrally.org/ Does anyone from Arapahoe Tea Party want to help with my booth and promote Arapahoe Tea Party at the same time?

Nancy -  I will not be at the next meeting (out of town), but I really DO want one or maybe even two of these to give to my kids.  How can we get together?  Thanks.

I'm not going to be able to make it tonight.  Sorry for the late notice.  I have a bunch of DVD, if anyone is interested in buying a copy - $15.  They're $18 on the website, plus shipping.  If people are interested, I can bring some copies to your next meeting or can get some to Cathy or Wilma or someone else.

There is a trailer available for this movie at:

It looks like there is a good group interested in this event.

I will also be bringing Pam, my wife, if that's ok.  We really want to see this.  Jay

Nancy, Thanks for the offer, but this should probably just be an ATP event - my house is not big enough for a lot of people.

Do you want me to add this event to my website's calendar?  Wasn't sure - since it's at your house, didn't know if you wanted it publicized?
