Event Description

Please join us for dinner and a movie, the one making all the rounds, "Agenda, Grinding America Down."

"When Idaho legislator Curtis Bowers wrote a 'Letter to the Editor' about the drastic changes in America's culture, it became the feature story on the evening news, people protested at the Capitol, and for weeks the local newspapers were filled with responses.

He realized then...he'd hit on something.

Ask almost anyone and you'll hear, 'communism is dead! The Berlin Wall came down.' Though the word communism isn't used anymore, this film will show the ideas behind it are alive and well.

Join Bowers for a fascinating look at the people and groups that have successfully targeted America's morality and freedom in their effort to grind America down.

It's a well documented agenda.

Menu to be determined. Possibly scalloped potatoes and sausage. Sweet corn and/or California vegetable salad. The movie will start at 6:30 but if you want, show up at 5:00 to have a pre-dinner drink.

Quick directions to our house: From the intersection of Smoky Hill Rd. and Himalaya, go east on Smoky Hill. Past the storage units, turn right onto Kirk Ave. Down the hill, 4th right onto Lake Ave. Up a short block, veer right onto S. Himalaya Ct., second house on the left, with a U.S. flag flying.

The Freedom Rally does look like it's going to be good.  I think they've done this rally every years since 2001.

Hi Jay.  My sister just arrived in town with her family from NJ.  They'll be here until Monday.  Can we meet sometime next week after she leaves?

Nancy -  I just visited the site for the 9-11 freedom rally, and was very excited.  I even signed-up to win the motorcycle.  Part of me really wants to win, and another part of me is scared if I do...

I will be there, and will look for you.

Thanks.   Jay

Cathy -  A comment thread would be appropriate, I think.  This is not the first time I have heard much of what was presented.  This movie tied it more closely to Obama than others seemed to, but it was compelling.  As to the message.  I think that our society has been drifting in the direction that the Communist Party wanted us to go, already.  I think giving them credit for it all is beyond reality.  I believe the people themselves have drifted quite far from the vision that the founding fathers had for this nation, and that drift is pulling us in the direction of the Communist agenda.  Regardless, finding the antidote to the drift is the task of the day.  I believe it is to be found in educating the masses regarding what the agenda is, and how far down that road we have already come.  Maybe then we will see the responsible people in the nation begin to push back, and take us back to our roots - and the vision that made us who we were.
