Event Description

The Colorado House of Representatives will reconvene Monday at 10:00 a.m. and the major items on the agenda will be the paassage of the four major gun control bills that were passed on second reading through the 13-hour session.

If you can attend and be seated in the gallery during this session the Republicans who have battled this legislation would undoubtedly appreciate the support and encouragement.

After the session concludes the various committees will resume their meetings.  One of the requests for support in committee has been to support a bill similar to bills passed by other states:

"Reminder from Rep Landgraf that if you can come to Denver tomorrow to support her bill being introduced.
Lois Landgraf

Reminder: Tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 18, my bill, 1187 that prohibits the enforcement of any new federal firearms statute, rule, or regulation will be heard in State, Veterans and Military Affairs. The committee meeting starts at 1:30. This committee meets across the street from the Capitol at 14th and Sherman."

If you cannot attend, the full house and senate proceedings can be viewed and all of the committee hearings have audio.  Please tune in and learn how things are going.  The agendas and bills and all information can be found also at this web site:

After the bills pass the house they will be sent to the senate and the battle will begin there.

Respectful correspondence and telephone calls are encouraged for all bills.  Also, find the web site for your representative and senator and learn when they will have any townhall events and attend when possible.

Check the Principles of Liberty site for an analysis of many bills.

All four of the gun control bills passed.  As soon as the lists for the final votes can be found, they will be linked so you will kow who to thank or work harder to get out of office in 2014.
