Lisa, Thanks for the info. I wonder if ATP could just tag along with the Broomfield 9/12 event? I couldn't find a contact name/number, but will keep looking, unless you have one?
I haven't heard of a Flash Mob. I feel GB has some ulterior motives than just the return of fiscal sustainability. Though I can help you in setting up an event to see if others would like to participate.
Lisa, Great idea! I don't catch Beck much so haven't heard of this, but it sure sounds like something worth pursuing.
I've not yet heard of anyone doing this, but I'm still navigating all the communication channels. Will start asking.
If there is none planned yet, would you like to organize one? Or at least organize for the ATP? I'm hoping that members of the ATP will take one issue and "run with it" as we can only get as much done as there are people willing to do them.
I think you can post the event yourself, on our events site. If not, please let me know.
I'm new in Colorado, temporarily located in Aurora. I listen to the Glenn Beck radio show a lot. He has suggested that all tea parties organize a Flash Mob event for April 21st. He has suggested that as a group we gather food and then on April 21 we meet at a location (ie unemployment office, food banks, homeless shelters, etc) and hand out the food with a hug telling the people not to give up hope. We are to wear tea party shirts or have signs/posters stating who we are. I have been searching the Tea Party Patriots website for a group near me who is organizing this Flash Mob. No luck there. While hunting, I came across an email from Fredrick Lindner posted on the Aurora Tea Party page. I've signed on as a member, and am wondering if any plans are in the works to participate in Flash Mob. I have food from my food storage (apple sauce, jams, and more) that I am willing to donate. I am willing to help sort donations and be a part of the group that hands it out on April 21st. Can you put me in touch with group that is doing this Flash Mob?
