Here is the review that Steven Haworth posted on his Facebook page regarding the meeting:

"The Arapahoe TEA Party monthly meeting was last night and we had a great meeting!  Over 115 in attendance, about 30 people were new first time TEA Party goers,  7 candidates had a chance too introduce themselves, Grassrootsradio Colorado did a live remote broadcast of their radio talk show, the Heritage Foundation Values Bus was there, Family Research Council and Americans for Prosperity also gave presentations.  We are going to move America forward on the right path!  Randy B. Corporon, our Chairman has been grand at organizing our meetings and turning them into inspiring events. Arap Tea-Party."

The event seemed like it was successful in the attendance and enthusiasm.  Hopefully, future events will be less chaotic to set up.

Thanks to all for their efforts and attendance.

Lisa,

It was explained to me that some groups with petitions or other "objectionable" materials have been problematic especially at the entrance, so to minimize the potential problems and remain a neutral facility for all patrons who want to use the services including the meeting rooms this is the situation.  While it may seem unusual or extreme, it seems to me to strike the only balance possible.

I hope the Rockies have a really good game.  Enjoy!

RE: Library Rules

For the love of Pete! Do they fly the U.S. flag at this library? Or, more to the point, do they have a copy of the Federalist Papers or the Constitution in their catalog?

Nuts! If we didn't have Rockies' tix, I'd be there for sure. Sounds like a great event, with live broadcast AND Heritage on site. Woo-Hoo! Have a great meeting and event!
