I think the problem with the news media shaping public opinion rather than just reporting facts is a bigger threat to our country than any problems with the political system. It seems I heard a quote by a dictator, something to the effect, "I don't need to control the votes of the people if I can control the media."  Sounds so true, doesn't it?

Wanted to give you an update about the event I attended back in Nov, 2010 at the Centennial Institute. It was a topic on "How the New Media is Transforming Politics". And boy, did they in the Governor's race.  I'll send this to you at your private email as an attachment because I think many of their points bear discussing as they relate to the Arapahoe Tea Party and it's future involvement.
