Event Description

The Republican (and Democrat?) party in Colorado hold caucus on March 4, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. (sharp).

If you need to know your precinct and other information in Arapahoe County, please refer to the county clerk's web site for voter information at:

http://www.arapahoevotes.com/

The list of the Republican caucus locations by precinct number can be found at:

The Arapahoe County Republicans home page has a list of the dates and events that everyone should know about who attend the caucus meetings and plan to represent their precincts at the county and state assemblies.  Note that anyone who plans to represent their precincts as delegates will have to pay at the caucus for the county and state events.  So you will need to have your calendars clear for those dates and your checkbook available to pay at caucus.

If you have questions, please contact the Republican party or other major party that you may have an affiliation with.  Note that to participate in the caucus you were to be affiliated with a party 60 days in advance of caucus.  (That date was previously posted).  You can attend as guest as I understand it if you were not affiliated but will not be able to participate in the delegate selection.

The other parties that may have caucus would be Democrat and American Constitution.

Note that if you become a delegate you will become a very popular person and receive contacts from all of the candidates for the various offices.  Some people may even see an increase in calls from agencies conducting polls or surveys.

Be sure to take your personal events calendar and some form of payment (cash, check, credit) if you think you will become a delegate or alternate to the subsequent assemblies.

Current reports via Republicans for Arapahoe County indicate the following fees:

county assembly -- $15 delegate/alternate

state assembly -- $60 (delegate) or $40 (alternate)
