This event is free and open to the public.

The City Council District 2 candidates running for the position held by Sue Bosier, who is term-limited, are:

Doris Truhlar

Voters will also choose between Mike Hanbery and Kathleen Turley, running to replace District 1 Council Member Rick Dindinger, who is term limited. Mark Gotto is the only  candidate for term-limited District 3 Council Member Rebecca McClellan's position. And voters will decide  among John Tate, William Turner, or Charles Whelan III to succeed term-limited District 4 Council Member Ron Weidmann.

More information on the Centennial candidates may be found on the city's web site here.

Centennial voters will also be asked to approve a city ballot issue on the city's ability to use it existing fiber optic network to provide telecommunication services to city residents and businesses. Currently Centennial (and all other local governments in Colorado) is prohibited by state law to partner with private entities to deliver telecommunication services to its constituents. This law remains as is, unless Centennial voters  decide to override that law  by voting on a ballot question. Centennial is asking the voters to override the state law.

Visit the city's web site here for more  information on this ballot issue.

For information, call the City of Centennial's information line at 303-325-8000.
