Saturday, September 25, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. -- Honk and Wave -- The Elbert County Republicans are doing a "Honk and Wave" in Elizabeth and Cindy Acree is looking for volunteers to wave her Republican candidate signs at the corner of Highway 86 and CR 13 in Elizabeth. The occasion is that John Hickenlooper will be there. Anyway, if you can participate please call Cindy Acree at 720-297-9039 so that she can bring sufficient signs. [note: Cindy's district covers more than Arapahoe County.]
It's Time for Signs!
Yard signs are here! If you would like a sign or two, just let Cindy know ASAP. We'll even deliver!
High visibility locations for my 4' x 6' signs are also needed. Do you know of a location along I-70 on the way to Bennett or along E-470 where we could put up a sign? Or, does your property border a busy street? All ideas and offers are welcomed.
Volunteer Opportunities
The final countdown has begun and there are a lot of volunteer opportunities. Okay, so you don't want to make cold calls or knock on doors. Or, maybe you do! Whatever your interest level, we'd appreciate your help.
Placing signs at high-traffic intersections
Honk & Waves
Walking precincts (meeting residents and handing out flyers)
Literature Collation
Precinct Literature Drops
Starting next week, precinct leaders will be disbursing literature for the Arapahoe County GOP candidates and causes. If you are available to help with this project, I would be happy to put you in touch with your precinct leader. I know they would love some help, even if it's just an hour or two.
$20 in '10!
Thank you to those who have supported my campaign! If you have yet to contribute, I hope that you will consider donating $20 to our $20 in '10 campaign. You can donate through my website at www.cindyacree.com (the decimal is optional). =)
Help me protect your interests and your children's future with a donation today. Together, we can create a healthy Colorado.
Did you know that the donations I receive this fall can be used during the legislative session? Even though I am running unopposed, every donated dollar will help me in the fight to protect Colorado from the too-expensive plans of Obamacare.
Your donations help cover:
- Web & Action Alerts
- Constituent Mailings
- Travel & Costs for Town Hall Meetings
These activities are vital and allow me to keep you informed while we continue our goal of accomplishing true healthcare reform.
