From a Friend of Sudan Freedom Walk...
Friends and Fellow Abolitionists,
Shocking as it may seem, there are still tens of thousands of slaves (who are the property of other people, treated worse than livestock) in the Sudan. Slavery has been used as a weapon of jihad for millennia, and although the Sudanese government denies that it is even happening, it is going on with their approval. The "masters" are willing to release slaves in exchange for cattle vaccine, which is not readily available to them.
Last year's first Freedom Walk in the Denver area freed 140 men, women and children.
The walk is fun, but it is FOR A PURPOSE:
to bring freedom to those still enslaved in Sudan.
Please tell your family and friends,
colleagues and associates about this event.
Even post it on your Facebook page.
Thank you!
