September 16, 2010 - (Denver, CO) -
The Republican Study Committee of Colorado (RSCC) will hold a public hearing on Friday, September 24 titled the "State Powers Summit" from 10:00am-2:00pm. This hearing will be open to the public and will be held in Hearing Room B of the Legislative Services Building, next to the state Capitol building.
The format will provide an opportunity to listen to prepared remarks from various speakers and will allow time for a brief roundtable discussion on each topic. Featured speakers will include Jonathan Williams, the director of the Tax and Fiscal Policy Task Force for the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), Robert G. Natelson, Senior Fellow in Constitutional Jurisprudence at the Independence Institute, Geoffrey Blue, Colorado Deputy Attorney General for Legal Policy and Governmental Affairs, Senator Kevin Lundberg from CO Senate District 15 and Representative Kent Lambert of CO House District 14.
