Event Description

Starting October 14, watch your mailbox for your ballot if you are already registered to vote.  Make sure you return your ballot to any of the drop off locations or the Arapahoe County Clerk's office by 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014.

Everything you need to know, including on-line registration and the new tracking system, can be found at:

http://www.arapahoevotes.com/

There is an article about the Araphoe County tracking system for your ballot at:

If you have questions, contact Matt Crane (Clerk & Recorder) or his staff via contact information at the above web site for Arapahoe County.  Matt Crane appreciates your questions and interest.

Election day is November 4, 2014, and all ballots must be returned by 7:00 p.m.

Reminder that in 2012 and 2013 the Colorado legislature passed two bills that made all elections and ballot issues to be done via mail-in ballots.  The county clerks have to have many ballot locations for drop-offs and other issues through November 4.

Note (09/30/2014):  Matt Crane reports that the plan is that  ballots will be delivered to the USPS October 13 and it will take $0.70 postage to return via US mail.  He recommends using drop-off locations during the last week instead of mail service.

If you still need to return your ballot, be sure to take your ballot to your county clerk's designated drop off location near you.  The Colorado County Clerks Association has a web page where people can find their county and the drop off locations.
