Monday, March 2, Amy Oliver announced that the 10-year run as radio host for Greeley radio 1310 KFKA (oldest radio station in Colorado) would come to an end Friday, March 13. The show airs weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Amy Oliver has covered many topics central to Colorado news and issues--energy, legislative, education, ballot issues, Constitution, school districts, and more. Several guest hosts for her show have found their way into positions with other stations; i.e., Jason Worley, Krista Kafer, Jimmy Sengenberger, Ross Kaminsky, Stacy Petty, and perhaps others.
If you are not within listening range of 1310 KFKA, listen on-line via:
Amy will be concentrating more on the work at the Independence Institute in Denver.
The Greeley station has selected Stacy Trehurne Petty, a long-time grassroots activist, to fill the time slot starting March 16. Stacy has substituted for Amy several times lately and talked with some interesting guests. Looking forward to continuing to listen to the station during that time.
