South East Aurora Republicans has planned a "Honk & Wave" event for
Monday, October 15, 2012
4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Intersection of southbound Smoky Hill Road and South Aurora Parkway (near the Southlands shopping area)

Please join us for a Honk & Wave event, we'll have some Romney/Ryan signs and banners along with other local candidates. Help us get the word out just as folks are receiving their mail-in ballots!

If you live in or near the south east Aurora area, consider bringing your signs of support and join in the fun.
Update: meet on the Southeast corner, on the sidewalk in front of the Walgreens.

The event was successful with a turnout sufficient to have people and their signs on all four corners of the intersection. Among the people participating were candidates George Brauchler (for D.A. for 18th Judicial District), Kevin Priola (for house district), and Bill Ross III (for senate district 29). There were lots of people honking and waving including some trucks with air horns and it sure sounded like an ambulance and patrol vehicles honked as well.
So much fun was had that there will be another event Thursday evening. Refer to the event announcement.
