Agreed. When reading about the writing of the Constitution, I was struck by how close that document came to not getting written, so great was the dissension with both sides having good points. Glad they somehow prevailed to come up with something. As I see current times as analogous in importance to 1776, wonder what the U.S. will look like in 250 years? (hope there is one!)

Thank you very much, Cathy, for the kind comment and the text message last night. We have much to do to convince people who dislike the Republican candidates almost as much as Obama that there are certain points in history where voting for the lesser of two evils is essential, and that this is one of those points in history.
