C-Span has a Q&A program Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. MT with professor Joanne Freeman about her new book "The Field of Blood..." for which her research over many years has found during the period 1830-1861 numerous instances of varying violence in the halls of congress. The book is excellent. This Q&A program should be a good sample of the content.
