Let us ring out bells large and small to celebrate 234 years of the United States Constitution on September 17 at 4:00 p.m. EDT (2 p.m. MDT).
Why this date and time? Because the U.S. Constitution was signed in Philadelphia, Penn., at the Pennsylvania State House (now Independence Hall) on September 17, 1787, at 4:00 p.m.
