Radio hosts, Matt Dunn and Krista Kafer, will offer their commentary on events both cultural and political.
"The hosts of Backbone Radio wish you a Happy Veterans Day and a heartfelt thank you to all the men and women who have served our nation in our armed forces. To commemorate Veterans Day, previously called Armistice Day in recognition of the end of the World War I, we’ll be talking with Andy Parks of the Vintage Aero Flying Museum about his collection of WWI and WWII planes and artifacts.
We’ll also revisit the latest battle in the war of ideas with political veteran (and US Navy veteran) John Andrews. Though it will take some time to process the reasons for Romney’s defeat, we’ll take a cold hard look across the spectrum.
What happened on Tuesday night? And where do we go from here?
Was it amnesty? Was it demographics? Was it class warfare? Was it the war on women? Was it Sandy? Was it Christie? Was it Romney?
It is a time for soul-searching, a time to ask heavy questions. We’ll start searching, and start asking -- and begin the process of regrouping.
It was a stoic Marcus Aurelius who once said: “There are many bitter pills, but we welcome them in hope of health.”
We’re not ready to conduct an autopsy on conservatism just yet — we shall rise again in good health — but we need to do some serious thinking before we do so. We invite your calls at 303-696-1971. Like us on Facebook!"
Don’t miss it! Tune in to 710 KNUS or 1460 KZNT Colorado Springs or online at http://www.710knus.com/ from 5 to 8 PM. Call 303-696-1071. Your smart choice for Sunday night radio.
