DESCRIPTION:This is a reminder, a second post, that a reorganization 
 and planning meeting has been requested and scheduled for Monday, Janu
 ary 24, 2011, at the Smoky Hill Library [Room B] for the Arapahoe Cou
 nty Tea Party (ATP).   If you have already responded to the original
  post, parden the duplication and reminder. \n \nThe group should:\n
  \na.  select new leadership for the tea party group\nb.  discuss 
 calendar for the Republican party events since leadership selection f
 or the political parties will happen soon\nc.  suggest goal(s) for
  2011\n \nOne person has expressed an interest in becoming the chairp
 erson for the ATP.  Is there anyone else wanting to throw their hat i
 n the ring?\n \nFredrick Lindner is expected to address the group reg
 arding the coming events for the county and state Republican party.  
 He can also address coordination with other groups in the state.\n \n
 Stephanie Danaher from the Southeast Aurora Republicans may be present
  and address some of the interests with the GOP from their lively loca
 l group to county and state issues. \n \nPlease come prepared to sug
 gest topics that the ATP can address in the coming months and become m
 ore involved in our communities. \n \n \nBackground information for
  ATP:\n \nIn April or May 2009 a couple with the last name of West st
 arted both this web site and meeting with a small group of people they
  had connected with.  The first few meetings were held at their condo
 /townhome complex clubhouse until their employment suddenly took them 
 to Texas.  Fredrick Lindner took the leadership at that point (about 
 August 2009) and the group met briefly in the coffee shop area at Bor
 ders Book Store and then met for a while at the home of Theresa and Ra
 ndy Collins. \n \nFredrick summarized the numerous e-mails he receiv
 ed from other liberty groups into a newsletter that he sent out two or
  three times a month and coordinated with local 9-12 Project and Tea 
 Party groups to do candidate forums, caucus training, and other events
  until about September 2010.  He set up the Arap Tea-Party page on Fa
 cebook.  The leaders of the numerous Colorado liberty groups were mee
 ting fairly regularly and Fredrick attended when possible or joined th
 em on teleconference calls at times.  Several months ago Fredrick tr
 ied to find someone to assume a leadership role since his own work sc
 hedule and other responsibilities required more attention.\n \nNow i
 s a good time to find out if there is renewed interest in meetings for
  the ATP and what focus might be attempted for 2011.  Of course there
  is much on the national level for attention but the Colorado legislat
 ure is in session and much to watch there.  If there are local issu
 es that require attention now might be a good time to start focusing o
 n this and any future elections.  Some groups are focusing on leaders
 hip training. \n \n*************************************************
