 , 2011, we will mark the 10th anniversary of the day that forever chan
 ged American society by launching the 9/11 Freedom Rally, a huge event
  encompassing a Memorial Field, Colorado’s Fallen Heroes Memorial Ri
 de, 5K walk/run, bicycle tour, and an all-day public festival with cul
 tural activities, concerts, food, vendors and other fun for the whole 
 family. All net proceeds from the 9/11 Freedom Rally will support nonp
 rofit organizations that support veterans, active duty military, first
  responders and their families.\nMultiple organizations and sponsors h
 ave come together to create this unique event, and we are actively see
 king additional organizations, individuals and sponsors to also take p
 art. We are anticipating 25,000 or more attendees at this event in the
  Denver metro area.\n \nThe mission of the 9/11 Freedom Rally, organi
 zed by nonprofit organizations, is to reclaim the date of September 11
  each year as a time of honoring and helping instead of just mourning.
  Although we will never forget those whose lives were lost in the 9/11
 /01 terrorist attacks in New York City, at the Pentagon and in Pennsyl
 vania, we believe we must refocus this date toward honoring and celebr
 ating those who continue to serve us daily, including military veteran
 s, active duty military personnel, and first responders such as police
  officers, firefighters and emergency medical personnel, as well as th
 eir families.\nBesides honoring, we believe in helping. The Rallies, t
 o be held each year, will help raise much-needed funding for numerous 
 nonprofit groups that serve those whom we honor.\nThe 9/11 Freedom Ral
 ly is a full day of fun and activities for the whole family on Sunday,
  Sept. 11, 2011. The main Rally will take place at Dick’s Sporting G
 oods Park in Commerce City Colorado, within the Denver metropolitan ar
 ea. Save the date NOW on your calendar, and let all of your family mem
 bers, friends and co-workers know about this not-to-be-missed event.\n
