We provide paper products, chips & drinks, including beer & wine for adults
Bring your picnic foods & a side dish to share
We want to raise as much money as possible, which will be divided evenly between the House Candidates that participate.
Auction items: Looking for any auction items that people can donate: be creative!
Baked goods contest:
Got a killer cake recipe? Enter our dessert contest.
Just want to make brownies from a box? We’d love to have them for the bake sale.

Please note the candidates who are expected to be available or represented, some of the items available for the auction [really great items], and that you should bring picnic items.
This is a really good opportunity to meet your new or future representatives and find out how you can assist in these campaigns.

Picnic from 4 to 8 p.m. provides a good opportunity to meet many of the house district candidates. Location is Washington Park (North Side) Boathouse & Picnic Grounds.
R Block Party's flyer states they will provide: drink tickets, chips, and paper products. Guests should bring: a picnic dinner and a side dish to share.
R Block plans to have an auction [silent and possibly live(?)], a bake sale, and a bake off (items will be judged). They have been working on good ideas that they and some of their contacts might offer for the auction.

R Block Party had a very successful "meet and greet" for candidates before the assemblies to pick the candidates for the primaries. This family picnic and fund raiser should be a great opportunity to meet candidates if you have not done so yet or get an updated perspective on their positions.
