What say we take a page from our despicable mideast brothers and have a public burning of the treasonable NObamamerican flag?

Just had an awful thought. Was reading a report about the coming "Fiscal Cliff" that will occur after the election when the "Bush Era Tax Cuts" are allowed to expire, and the mandated cuts forced by the Tea Party as a result of the debt ceiling fight will take effect.Every time Obama uses the line about taxing "millionaires and billionaires", do you think he silently thanks the Tea Party for electing a Republican House of Representatives that stopped him from doing so? If he had been able to…

The first hour of my first solo show. Thanks Ken and Jason.
Hard not to have fun with the Democrat National Convention underway. I enjoyed reminding everyone that the keynote speaker Wednesday night for the party defending against the Republican "War on Women" was the serial sex fiend, disgraced, impeached and disbarred former president, Williiam "BJ" Clinton.

Much has been made of recent rules changes at the GOP Convention. Do I oppose these changes? Oh, that’s too limited. Truth is, I oppose ANY changes at this time. This is a time for unity—for reaching out—and my Party leadership has done the precise opposite of what I’ve been pushing behind the scenes. I’m filled with misery, as misguided strategy threatens to derail a landslide victory.
So you won’t hear me defending ANY changes.
But, as one who has given…

Since the DNC theme is centered around the "War on Women," I've put together some counter-arguments for Conservatives to use. I tested them on some blogs this afternoon with rather enjoyable success.
Hope you like them.…

Whether you are interested in the USA's military and its ability to defend the country or just have not thought of it much, please read this article by Trevor Loudon (from New Zealand) who is sounding an alarm based on information and reports he is seeing. Is it possible that in four more years a main function of the the military might be to deal with global warming or other matter that the Founding Fathers would never have envisioned?

Thomas Sowell has offered this short but very insightful article titled "'Issues' or America" and comments on one of those old adages--cannot see the forest for the trees. He reminds us of the Constitution and only a few things that have been done to dismantle it.
Please read the article.

There is a C-Span.org program that shows former Justice Sandra Day O'Connor providing testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee. The program is just under 1.5 hour and is quite interesting. Check out the hearing at:

There is a mention of a web site or educational program that Justice O'Connor is involved with to advance civics education in schools…

I have heard many Christians express concerns about voting for Mitt Romney because he is Mormon. They certainly have this right, but I’d ask that they give me one chance to offer another view.
You see, I am a former Atheist, now a born again Evangelical Christian. My degree is in the Ministry. My favorite ministry is "Answers In Genesis" with Ken Ham. I am not a Mormon. But I offer the following points:
1. When Mormons cast millions of votes to help elect Reagan,…

The key link between freedom and prosperity is the right of the individual to own property.
Throughout history, no matter how oppressive the government, whenever the chains of slavery were loosened, the conditions of the individual and the country were improved.
The founding fathers believed private property to be a foundation (Bill of Rights Amendment V) and upon this foundation they built the other Rights, namely Life, Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness, choice…

My response to a beloved relative who analyzed the election prospects in favor of Obama/Chainmaster. I, of course, am supporting the R/R Comeback Team:

Congresswoman DeGette Only member of CO Delegation to Vote AGAINST Auditing the Fed
I am copying this from a FB post by the Republican candidate for Congressional District 1, Danny Stroud. He addresses his comments specifically to us in the "fringes" of Arapahoe County who are in CD1. I am one of them, and feel routinely ignored and unrepresented by the person who has held this office for way too long (going on 16 years).
Please look into Mr Stroud, as he most…

Once again, the Left has been permitted to control the jargon, and the Right lets them get away with it.
There is a difference between outsourcing (delegating some non-core corporate activity to a company for which the activity is core) and off-shoring (sending core activity jobs to non-domestic locations to take advantage of lower costs of doing business). The obvious difference is that outsourcing can keep jobs in America (although not necessarily so), and off-shoring by…

The Colorado public trustees for the 65 counties are seldom in the news. In fact, my impression was that the term was a nebulous description, but apparently it is actually a position that is in some instances appointed by the governor. The position has apparently come under some scrutiny as reported recently in the Denver Post.

Considering this week's dismal jobs report, Liberals, please answer this question:
Say a wealthy American has $10 million for building a business. To build in America, he/she faces sky-high costs in:
1. Corporate tax rate
2. EPA compliance
3. Labor costs
4. Regulatory burdens
5. Lawsuit protection
This wealthy American must compete in a global marketplace against foreign competitors having none of these disadvantages, so here's my question: WHAT'S…

There are numerous articles being published analyzing the June 2012 Supreme Court decision on PPACA (Obamacare). Most of them focus either on how we were betrayed by Chief Justice Roberts, or are contorted arguments what good can be gleaned from the decision. I thought this item from Heritage took a slightly different tack, and would be useful to share with those who cling to the belief that PPACA is actually good for America. Essentially, it lays out the trail of broken promises…

I hope none of you were counting on the Supreme Court to "save" us from the PPACA. I had a wish, but, upon reflection, was only disappointed, not surprised, that the Supreme Court forgot its responsibility to the Constitution above all else. Clarity is our friend, however, and we certainly should be clear on the fact that ALL branches of our federal government have been infected by the progressive virus. If nothing else, this decision should demonstrate clearly that our job is not…
