Douglas County School Board Candidate Forum

 

The League of Women Voters  will sponsor a candidate forum for all eight candidates running for positions on the Douglas County School Board. Four of the seven 4-year term positions are up for election.

 

Monday, October 14 at  6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Eastridge Community Center

9568 S. University Blvd.

Highlands Ranch, CO 80126

 

The District B candidates vying for the seat held by John Carson, who is term-limited, are:

Barbara Chase

Jim Geddes

 

The District D candidates seeking the position currently held by incumbent Carrie Mendoza, who is not seeking reelection, are:

Julie Keim

Judith Reynolds

 

The District E candidates are:

Doug Benevento, the incumbent

Bill Hodges

 

The District G candidates are:

Meghann Silverthorn, the incumbent

Ronda Scholting

 

Regardless of where Douglas County voters live, they are eligible  to vote for a candidate in each of the four districts.

The forum is free and open to the public.
