Speakers and Caucus Info

PRIORITY #1 - CAUCUS TRAINING & JANUARY 16th SPECIAL MEETING

The first order of business is to learn all about the Caucus process, primarily on the Republican side since the Democrats hold the entire balance of power. Hundreds of conservative activists across Colorado are readying to participate at Caucus to select candidates, and we ask you (yes, you) to join in. Given the political apathy of the past, even a relatively small number can make a HUGE difference in this process -- we can actually take it over if we just show up and are prepared! But first, we must all be registered as a Republican or Democrat in order to participate. It is a simple form, and can be changed back to Independent at any time (though if you revert to Independent or to a 3rd party before the Primaries, you will have no vote at all in that process).

The deadline to register with either party is January 19th, and to make it incredibly easy for you, our next meeting (Sat. morning, January 16th, at or near Koelbel Library) will include:

1) All the forms to complete your party affiliation by the 1/19 deadline, and we will deliver & file them for you;
2) Caucus Training, conducted by none other than Nancy Doty, (Arapahoe County Clerk & Recorder); and
3) Prominent speakers such as Congressman Tom Tancredo, Dan Maes (Candidate for Governor), Dick Wadhams (Colorado GOP Chairman), Matt Arnold (Clear the Bench Colorado) and more, with opportunities for questions.
