Please read the article in The Colorado Statesman that reports that petitions were turned in for a ballot initiative for the November ballot and then further outlining the groups supporting this endeavor.

The article Matt Arnold posted last year (2011) on Clear the Bench Colorado for this topic is still relevant and worth review for the list of the special interest groups who are working on ballot initiatives and amendments to the Constitution.

A debate on this issue seems appropriate, but anything that limits freedom of speech should be avoided.
