Don't raise the ceiling!
The Federal Government has proven itself to be fiscally irresponsible. Perhaps the word irresponsible is inaccurate and too lenient.
Maybe describing the Federal Government as a Crack Addict with a Trillion Dollar Trust Fund would be a better description.
The Federal Government being a Crack Addict with a $14 Trillion Dollar Trust Fund would be even more accurate.
This out of control Federal Government MUST BE STOPPED. Its time to take the Crack from the Addict. Or should I say the hidden hand that controls the Federal Government and its puppet House and Senate representatives that continue to vote for the hidden hand's fiscally irresponsible agenda. The Federal Government has refused to fulfill its Constitutional duties and has an obvious agenda of driving this nation into bankruptcy.
Many economists feel we are already there. Don't believe that the Federal Government is purposefully driving this nation into bankruptcy?
Just curious, what do you call adding $700 Billion in spending in this new budget when last years budget was already $900 Billion in deficit spending?
That would put this years budget at $1.6 Trillion in deficit spending. What are you not seeing or understanding? Any prudent government, knowing the nation is already $14 Trillion in debt, would have cut $1 Trillion in spending or more to reverse the trend of going further into debt. But this out of
control government and administration is doing the exact opposite.
When Bush took office in 2000, the national debt was at $5.7 Trillion. When Bush left in 2009, the debt had risen to $10.6 Trillion..an increase of $4.9 Trillion
in 8 years - more than any other President in history. Since Obama has taken office, the debt has increased to over $14 Trillion in just over 2 years. Obama is Deficit Bush on steroids.
At what point will complacent and compliant Americans wake up to these facts ?
At what point will complacent and compliant Americans take the crack pen and national checkbook out of the Federal Governments hands ?
The time to do this was a long, long time ago my fellow citizens.
Some representatives are advocating this and its time to fire up the phones, emails and faxes to your representatives and demand a stop to this behavior.
Demand that your represenative votes AGAINST any increase in the debt ceiling. This should have been demanded over $10 Trillion dollars ago.
Demand that your representative cut the $700 Billion in new spending added to this years budget and more.
Demand fiscal responsiblity. The current continuing resolution for Federal Government funding ends at midnight on Friday April 8, 2011.
Its time to take the Crack from the Addict.
Demand that your representative represent this nation's best interests and not other nations, international financiers or their corporations.
Demand that your representative vote AGAINST involvement in these wars built on lies that further our budget deficits.
Demand that your representative represents you, his/her constituents and the American People - this includes fiscal responsibility.
