The American Experiment's third movie of the series is on the Russian Revolution discussing why did Americans become the freest people whereas France and Russia quickly fell back into tyranny.

What happened that allowed a series of revolutions that left Russia reeling and quickly falling into communism instead of freedom? Even you have not attended the other two, still come. Each event is stand alone. You will learn the role the Enlightenment (western thought) and the role eastern thought played along with serfdom and absolute rulership of a czar. Many years have passed since the American and French revolutions, how has technology changed? And what does all this have to do with America today? (hint - socialism) No charge :)

The American, French and Russian revolutions were supposed to be all about people liberating themselves. Yet two ended in absolute tyranny. Why? What made the American Revolution so different? How did Americans become the freest people in the world? Join us to find the answers to these powerful questions.

We all love movies. View a movie with us on each of these revolutions and discover why the people in each country revolted. Learn why they acted and responded the way they did. Bring your family and friends and enjoy the popcorn!

We will start with the American Revolution and proceed to the other two. You do not need to attend all the movie nights, but for maximum impact come to all three. 

At each movie we will first cover the circumstances leading up to that night’s revolution. Then we will watch the movie. Afterwards kick back and discuss with us what we just learned and help finish up the popcorn! You will receive a handout detailing the pre-revolutionary circumstances and the takeaways that explain why the American Revolution turned out so differently than the French and Russian Revolutions. You will receive the handouts from any previous movie night events.
