Each year, the Liberty Day Institute sponsors roughly 100 fifth graders in a visit to the Colorado State Capitol, where the kids quiz legislators, staff, lobbyists, community members, and others about the U.S. Constitution!
PLUS a select group of 5th graders will - for the 3rd year in a row - read the Declaration of Independence on the floor of the State House!
This year, we are adding a brief press event featuring several special guest speakers and 5th grade students. Come ready to be quizzed - they'll be ready!

Check out the web site and contribute if you can. The organization is working to educate 5th graders of Colorado about the Constitution and more.
