The movie "2016: Obama's America" is scheduled to open nationwide on this date. The movie is narrated by Dinesh D'Souza, president of Kings College, who was born in India and grew up in an environment of "anti-colonialism." Mr. D'Souza is the author of The Roots of Obama's Rage.
A trailer for the movie is available at: http://2016themovie.com/
If you connect with the Facebook page, there are daily pictorial reminders that the movie is out on July 27, 2012.

Friday, GBTV.com aired an interview that Glenn Beck had with Dinesh D'Souza after showing the film to a small audience. The Blaze has an article with video segments:
The movie was one of the movies available for viewing at the Western Conservative Summit that was held in Denver, June 29 to July 1. If anyone saw the movie there, please offer some comments.
As local information becomes available this post will be updated.
*********************
The movie will be available in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo theaters on August 17.
**********************
The dates that the movie will be in the theaters is only estimated through August 30--please check the theater schedules because they may cut this short at any time.
See comments below.
Note (09/11/2012): Some of the theaters will not continue the movie into the next week so be sure to check the listings for the individual theaters.
This article indicates responses from Dinesh D'Souza in response to charges leveled by the president's campaign.

Again, please see the movie and take some friends. Wake people up.

There is a report that Geri Zahner is organizing for Highlands Ranch for 7:15 p.m. show Friday, to be followed by CB&Potts.
I've got my tickets for the Southglenn theater!
The theaters at the web site for the movie has had an updated list for the opening on August 24 and now lists 11 locations in the greater Denver metro area. Times for the shows are starting to appear for the various theaters.

That should give some ideas for locations and times.
The web site for the movie has a list of theaters that I have been using and comparing with other sites. There are 5 on the list for the metro area besides 3 others in Greeley, Ft. Collins, and Grand Junction to open on August 24.

It is Tuesday and the Westminster location is the only one with show times; but the Highlands Ranch location did start showing yesterday that the movie was on the list of playing soon.
I know I am not any good at theater web sites but Highlands Ranch is only showing one show for August 24 which has got to be confusing for anyone looking for information on any of the other movies. Frankly, it is one of the few locations where movies were given in a chance in the metro area--showing "Red Tails", "spOILed", and "U.N. me" or "October Baby." (There were a couple of others.)
For now I am going with the list on the movie's web site.
Just check for tickets, and the list of theaters showing the movie in the Denver area on 24 August does not include AMC in Highlands Ranch. It DOES include the AMC in Westminster. Also, the Southglenn Stadium 14 in the Streets at Southglenn will have the movie. I suppose the Prage group will be relocating its "watch party".
The Washington Examiner has some box office numbers for this movie that may be of interest. Just laugh at the title of the article I suppose:

Lisa, thank you for commenting about the Prager group plans to meet at CB&Potts afterwards on the 24th. That has been where many people go after some of these films. It sure looks like the theaters just do not even want to put the movie on the list of "coming soon."
The other group that I have heard of that is trying to get together is Colorado Hispanic Republicans for Monday, August 27, at Denver Pavillions Stadium 15 but I have not seen where they are meeting after or before.
If anyone has information for groups trying to meet at any of the five theaters, please comment. The list of theaters is at:
http://2016themovie.com/theaters/
Plan on attending 24 August at AMC24 highlands Ranch with local PRAGER group, but as of last night the movie does not appear for pre-sales on the theater site. The Prager group is gathering at the near-by CB&Potts afterwards, if anyone would like to join us.
This review by Scott Paulson of the movie "2016: Obama's America" starts off like he does not like the movie, but by the end of the review he comments on the particular people who should see the movie. While people in the theater applauded at the end, Mr. Paulson reports that he left--"reasonably upset." Perhaps the hype that Mark Levin and others truly cannot be expressed.

Watch for details as showtimes become available. Some groups are trying to get together for the show and afterwards dinner or conversation.
