From e-mail:

"From J-GOP President Dan Kopelman:
Colorado became the center of attention for a state GOP political process that has been hardly changed for decades (I know I have been a State Delegate or Alternate for 20 years). This year's State Convention was little changed and we had a significant presence there! Thank past J-GOP president Karen Kataline for her great speech, Treasurer, Teo Sonnenschein for opening his home to us and Board Member Geri Zahner Heasly for producing our new flyer in time for the meeting.
Our speaker, Kristina Cook, is the host of her own radio show and the State director of Convention of States. She was at the Colorado Convention as well. Kristina is going to give us an update on the Convention of States and will give us her perspective of where Colorado stands as well as some insight into how we have become the center of the political storm.
Kris Cook is a life-long Colorado resident and political activist. She started her political career on the Prop 103 campaign in 2011, and since that time, has worked on issue campaigns, hosted Grassroots Radio Colorado in Denver and the Kristina Cook Show podcast, and most recently became the State Director for the Convention of States Project, a nationwide effort to convene a convention for proposing amendments to the Constitution under Article V. It is that effort that will be the focus of her presentation.
