The first of the series was on Tuesday, August 14 on the topic:

Debate #1:  Fracking - Is it safe? Is it cost effective? How does it affect your family? 
  
Note:  There was a lively debate and good attendance for the first debate.  Lunch was very nice featuring a salad and more, certainly plenty to eat.  There were a few children who required a babysitter and that was very nicely attended in an adjacent room.  An impressive event for the ladies to attend and it appeared that all were quite satisfied with the program.
 
This debate series is designed for the women of a variety of backgrounds--no matter of their employment status or experience.  Everyone is trying to get informed. 

Debate #2:  Renewable Energy.  Should the government be involved?  Is it cost effective?  How does it affect your family?    Note:  There was a lively debate and attendance was less than expected.  Lunch was very nice featuring a salad and more, certainly plenty to eat.  There were a few children who required a babysitter and that was very nicely attended in an adjacent room.  An impressive event for the ladies to attend and it appeared that all were quite satisfied with the program.   This debate series is designed for the women of a variety of backgrounds--no matter of their employment status or experience.  Everyone is trying to get informed.

The organizers do want to limit this series of debates to the ladies.
