Event Description

The Rocky Mountain Black Conservatives of Colorado’s Front Range  has joined forces with Cañon City-based Royal Gorge Tea Party and other groups around Colorado to present a “Faith, Liberty & Heritage Rally” on Oct. 20.

The event is free and open to the public and will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Stargazers Theater and Event Center, 10 South Parkside Drive off E. Pikes Peak Ave in Colorado Springs.

An impressive array of speakers will explore the connections between our country’s founding and our present-day political environment. Hear and meet candidates for some of Colorado’s most interesting House and Senate races as well as informative and inspirational speakers who will explore everything from the “living” constitution, to the impact of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), to separation of church and state. Be prepared for this year’s election!

Derrick Wilburn, founder of the RMBC, and RGTP representatives Ed Whitcraft and Richard Hollabaugh, have confirmed as speakers Rep. Doug Lamborn from Congressional District 5; State Rep. Kevin Grantham, State Senate District 2; Jennifer George, candidate for House District 18; Vicki Marble, candidate for Senate District 23; Jim Wilson, candidate for House District 60; Perry Buck, candidate for House District 49; Larry Crowder, candidate for Senate District 35; and Ken Buck, Weld County district attorney.

Among special guest speakers are Brigadier General, USA, Ret. and former NASA Astronaut Robert L. Stewart; Dr. Jill Vecchio, expert on PPACA (aka “Obamacare”); and Mike Holler, author of “Constitution Made Easy.”

Entertainment will be provided by Dave German, former lead guitarist for music icons Sonny & Cher and Glen Campbell.  Colorado Springs rock band, Street Kar Desire, will also perform.

For more information, call 719-237-0070 or 719-275-1112.
