Event Description

Looking for people in Aurora who want to catch the early show at the Movie Tavern at Seven Hills.

"2016:  Obama's America" is opening at 11 theaters in the greater Denver metro area on Friday, August 24.  Let's get our family, friends, and neighbors out to see this movie.

Showtimes for this movie have been held up for a lot of theaters.  If you use a variety of sources for times and cannot find your theater and time, I suggest checking the movie web site for theater list and checking directly with the theater listing.

Here is the list I jotted down with some of the theater times but keep in mind my typing is not always accurate so double check listings.

-- AMC Westminster Promenade 24 (10:00-12:25-2:50-5:15-7:50-10:30)

-- AMC Arapahoe Crossing 16 (11:30-2:00-4:30-6:50-9:20)

-- AMC Southlands 16 (11:40-2:05-4:30-6:55-9:20)

-- Aurora Movie Tavern 10 (10:20-1:00-3:40-6:30-9:20)

-- AMC Brighton 12 (10:30-12:55-3:20-5:45-8:10-10:45)

-- AMC Flatiron Crossing 14 (11:40-2:15-4:45-7:15-9:45)

-- South Glenn Stadium 14

-- Denver Pavilions Stadium 15 (12:20-2:40-5:05-7:35-10:00)

-- AMC Highlands Ranch 24 (11:50-1:50-4:35-7:15-9:55)

-- Century Bel Mar 16 in Lakewood

-- West Village Stadium 12 in Lakewood

Pick any theater and go.  Sooner we get out there then the sooner a buzz can be made.

If you know of particular plans for other theaters and times and groups, post them or get them out on Facebook.

Movie is 90 min. and PG

The movie is amazing!  I was expecting much of the content of the movie but was still shaken by what I did not know or consider.

I recommend people who see this might call the talk shows and comment on the movie or comment in reviews of the movie.  I will be seeing this movie at least once more in the next couple of days and perhaps more.

For a 10:20 a.m. show, I suspect that there was a surprising attendance in that there were 35-40 people before the movie started--and this is a documentary.  At a 1:00 p.m. show of a different movie the previous day at the same theater there were only 6 people for a light-hearted movie.

I had posted a few links to early reviews from other locations at:

Get everyone you know out to see this, even if you have to drive 25-50 miles.

Highlands Ranch theater for the 7:15 p.m. show this evening will have a group that will go to CB&Potts afterwards for drinks and discussion.

Some people will be attending the South Glenn theater but I do not have details.

Colorado Hispanic Republicans at the downtown theater for Monday, possibly?

See it.
