SUMMARY:Backbone Radio w/ Matt Dunn and Krista Kafer
DESCRIPTION:Radio hosts, Matt Dunn and Krista Kafer, will offer their
commentary on events both cultural and political.\n \n\"Another week
and so much to discuss! We’ll have three terrific guests: Ben DeGrow
, senior policy analyst for the Education Policy Center at the Indepen
dence Institute, will give us his take on the movie Won’t Back Down.
We’ll talk about what real health care reform looks like with Nina
Owcharenko, the Director of the Heritage Foundation’s Center for Hea
lth Policy Studies. It’ll be good information for when the disastrou
s Obamacare law is chucked into history’s dustbin (hopefully a few m
onths from now). We’ll talk with our old friend Jimmy Sengenberger a
bout his upcoming event at the State Capitol.\n\nWe’ll also review l
ast week’s VP debate. In what can only be described as an angry, dis
respectful and wholly inappropriate performance in Thursday night's de
bate, Joe Biden proved himself the veritable poster child for what's w
rong with politics in America today. Shouting, flailing, sneering, int
errupting and awkwardly grinning -- it makes us aware that sometimes a
ge does not confer wisdom upon the aged.\nWe were impressed with the w
ay the cool, civilized and presidential Paul Ryan stood up to the hyen
a tactics of his opponent.\nMeanwhile, President Obama -- who oft expr
esses concern about the \"smallness of our politics\" -- decided to sp
end the past week laser-focused on the travails of Big Bird. Heading i
nto the home stretch, with 23 days unto election, the President wants
America to know that a vote for Obama is a vote to save Sesame Street.
Big Bird, however, asked Team Obama to stop running those ads about h
im. No one likes to be a political puppet.\nWith Romney rising in the
polls, recent events in Libya looking ever worse for the Administratio
n, and the budget deficit surpassing a trillion for the fourth year, w
e’ve got plenty to talk about.\"\n \nDon’t miss it! Tune in to 71
0 KNUS or 1460 KZNT Colorado Springs or online at http://www.710knus.c
om/ from 5 to 8 PM. Call  303-696-1071. Your smart choice for Sunday
 night radio.\n \nhttp://backboneradio.net/\n\n\nFor more information
