"Aurora Republican Forum General Meeting: August 25th.  Coffee and pastry at 8:30, Meeting begins at 9:00.  This month,

Aurora Public Schools is considering a 2012 mill levy override to recover a portion of the $70 million in funding lost due to cuts to the Colorado K-12 education system over the past three years.  The mill level would fund educational programs and expenditures that support student achievement.  Later this month, the SPS Board of Education will make a decision about placing the mill levy on the November ballot.
